After researching the design parameters of reverse exchanges, it was established in 2006 to serve the clients and prospective clients of the nation’s 1031 Exchange Qualified Intermediary service industry, most of whom are members of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators. Who we are
Integration with SpecialistsThe process of financing your Replacement investment property includes the efforts of many people. While your Exchange Specialist oversees all aspects of the exchange, RFS is your main point of contact for managing the financing process. This service extends to the entire financing transaction, from overseeing the accurate compilation of your loan forms and financial information by the lender, to checking that the closing documents are on-time for the purchase settlement closing. Responsibilities may also include any or all of the following: ongoing communication with your Qualified Intermediary, arranging or confirming the order of a property appraisal and title search, confirming that you have ordered the specific insurance coverage required of your exchange accommodator, establishing contacts for condo or HOA management, researching lending options, communicating with lenders and the underwriters of lenders, requesting, reviewing and forwarding needed documents to the loan processor, and coordinating with the real estate agents, your CPA, tax advisor, attorney or other agents as needed. Reverse 1031 Financing is a fee-only service, does not act as mortgage broker, and does not receive any fees or other remuneration from the Lender, Title Company or Exchange Accommodator involved in your transaction.
